Abstract

The philosophical argument found in the anime "Attack on Titan" adapted from Hayime Isayama's manga, revolves around individual responsibility and freedom. Eren Jaeger, viewed through the lens of Jean-Paul Sartre, unveils an existential questioning about the weight of responsibility in the exercise of freedom. On the other hand, from Emma Goldman's point of view, Eren embodies anarchism as a path to liberate oneself from the chains of the State. In conclusion, the complexity of the narrative and its philosophical significance stand out, leading to a critical analysis of the human condition.
