Abstract

Demographic is the science that studies the size, composition, characteristics and evolution of human populations and their effects on the economic and social spheres. It is appropriate to talk about a demographic system while the main demographic variables operate as an open system, which is interdependent and exchanges information. Precisely, this paper outlines issues such as birth, fertility, migration, life expectancy, mortality, to mention some of them, as dimensions of a system, with direct implications for the entire and operation of this.
