De acuerdo con los resultados del estudio
realizado se puede afirmar que la presencia de
vegetación disminuye la concentración de
material particulado en las zonas urbanas. Las
concentraciones medidas de cinco fracciones

arbolada, lo cual es posible atribuirse a la
vegetación presente en el sitio arbolado. La
información obtenida en este estudio puede ser
un respaldo para justificar el financiamiento para
incorporar, dentro de las medidas para mejorar
la calidad del aire, la implementación de
infraestructura verde en zonas urbanas y
contribuir a mejorar la salud de los habitantes.
